Own your swing, or just renting

Golf even for the best, is fleeting. Got it one day, gone the next.

Throughout the history of golf, only a few professionals have been said to own their swings. Notably, Ben Hogan, Sam Sneed,Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino and and fast approaching, Tiger Woods. Now we might argue about a few others, but the concept of having a repeating swing, that produced excellent golf over the long hall might be the best criteria.

Owning their swings, they could minimize bad play periods, repeated their swing patterns and were able to maintain consistent reliable ball striking. These players could work the ball and produced whatever shot needed for the circumstance.

In the coming weeks we will take a look at issues, fundamentals and ways to own your swing. Why this may be a critical part to improving your game. And for the skeptics, is it even possible to own your own swing.. Especially if so few have done it.
