Ok, so why buy a product like the Pure Ball Striker?

As a teacher and player, I am always looking for ways to improve my game, to understand how to repeat a swing,  or how to ingrain a swing concept, so it becomes repeatable and reliable.

When I teach others, I often realize how hard it might be to give someone a thought that become a feeling that will translate into an action.

Training aids assist devices have been around since golf started.  As kids we had plastic balls, weighted donut devices, magic gloves, power tees and balls that wouldn't slice. Most were fun and served a purpose, but seldom did they teach a specific move or ingrain a necessary feel to control and master the movement of the club.

The Pure Ball Striker grew out of my teaching efforts and the difficulty some students had with feeling the pressure needed to direct the club shaft, face and club head toward a designated spot.  I often say we are the conductors of our golf swing and the PBS is a great tool to instill and practice controlling the club.  Golf is a tough game and mastering your swing starts with the ability to direct, control and understand where you need and want the club face to go.
